A Professor Wolf Walks in the door

[psychowolf]

Clay takes the stairs in his building two at a time, frustrated that he doesn't feel any less restless than before his run. Every fall it's the same and even worse, this year he has to be away from home. He opens the door to his apartment but instead of his apartment there is a bar at the end of the universe. There is a moment of shock and confusion, his senses assaulted by all of the smells of this place. In that moment the door shuts behind him.

He turns and tries to open the door, his pulls getting more forceful and a bit panicked, not that he would admit that last part.

The tall muscular professor is wearing shorts and a t-shirt which show his physique. Not that you would know he is a professor by looking at him.

Well there is a new door now, that opens with an organic sound, and the one who enters is a very tall alien in a black leather jacket that reaches his ankles.

[psychowolf]

Clay is pushed back when the door opens, he moves forward to try and exit until he sees the new creature arrive. Clay tenses as he recognizes a predetor.

[shakemyhand]

The Wraith stands straighter and bares his sharp teeth at the man, while flexing his clawed hands.

[psychowolf]

Clay muscles tense ready to pounce at a moments notice if need be, "Who are you? And what is this place?"

[shakemyhand]

This just elicits a growl. Humans always talking. His hands open and close at his sides.

"Move aside!" he orders.

[psychowolf]

Clay bristles at this, he only takes orders from his alpha.

Returning with a growl like sound of his own.

[shakemyhand]

Guide took a step forward.

[psychowolf]

Clay also takes a step forward not being one to back down from a fight. Part of him knows that a fight isn't going to get him answers but every instinct tells him that he is being challenged.

Guide looks down on Clay. He's cranky, he's also hungry, and this is not helping. This one wasn't quite human, he could gather that from his sensors, but the aggression on the top of this one's mind was rather... irritating.

The door changes again, it's panels covered in metal art deco, and this time it opens with a mechanical swoosh. And lo and behold there is Daniel standing in the frame with a cup of coffee, a data pad, and a notebook.

Clay notices the new door and this time his quick mind registers that the door actually changed. His confusion grows but with an aggressor in front of him he doesn't let down his guard but at the same time he doesn't move forward.

He is struggling between knowing that there is no good reason not to move out of this creatures way but at the same time that would be a sign of submission.

[shakemyhand]

Guide could stand here for hours staring this guy down. Really, he could.

Daniel stands inside the door, "Hey guys, your blocking the door."

[psychowolf]

Clay too could stand where he is for hours and still be ready for a fight. He isn't just a werewolf he also trains fervently.

The newcomer isn't challenging Clay, he can tell that much and clearly this man is human. An intellectual he suspects. "What is this place?" hoping that this newcomer might answer. "And why does that door change?" to a trained predator Clay's body language would indicate that he is considering moving aside for Daniel.

"Well, this is Milliways," says Daniel taking a quick look over his shoulder, "And this is Guide..."

At least the hall behind him was empty, aside from a young Siamese cat stalking people's ankles.

Guide on hearing his name glances back at Daniel Jackson.

"Daniel Jackson, this one refuses to move," he growls.

"I can see that. Are you two going to duke it out, 'cause you know I would rather not get in the middle of that."

[psychowolf]

Clay looks between the two. Truth is Clay didn't mean to block the door, he was just trying to get home. And this is a human and humans can't learn about werewolves. Looking at the alien he decides that still even if the human knows about this creature it's best to keep their secret. It's the Number One rule of the Pack.

So he steps aside, "What is this Milliways, and how did I end up here instead of my apartment?" still at the ready in case the big one decides to start a fight.

"Did you lock the door?" asks Daniel with a smirk.

Guide glowers at the two men, but stands aside from the door as well.

Daniel takes a few steps in and does his best to show both of the other men to a table out of the way of entering patrons.

[psychowolf]

Clay glares at Daniel, "The door doesn't have a handle let alone a key hole." In-spite the snark Clay still follows Daniels lead to a table because he is at least talking and Clay needs answers. The werewolf keeps his senses on full alert, taking in as much information as he can.

Guide sits himself down on a chair. He clamps his feeding hand shut.

"Well, actually, The Bar has a habit of hijacking doors," Daniel explains, "Looks like it got both of us from where ever we were in our world."

"This one tried to enter my hive," growls Guide in his gravely alien voice.

"Really?"

[psychowolf]

"I was trying to get back to my apartment." he has no interest in this creatures Hive. And as he considers it he actually respects that this Guide was protecting his territory.

Looking at Guide, "I wasn't trying to enter your territory." his demeanor has changed, more relaxed or at least less aggressive.

"I am Clayton Danvers" deciding that since he now knows their names it's only fair to provide his.

[shakemyhand]

Ah well that explains it. This human had never been here before. Guide smirks at the human with a small half smile. He'd been there before.

"Yeah, well, I can see why Guide was so distressed," he says, "It'd be like if you had just tried to escape into Atlantis. It would be hell trying to explain the presence of a strange guy running around."

Daniel also smiles sympathetically.

The mention of Atlantis gets Clay's attention but he stays on point, he has to get back, "How do I get back to my apartment?" he sadly doesn't care about where he is just how to get back.

[shakemyhand]

"Is your door there?" asks Daniel, "And if it is, can you open it?"

This interests Guide as well, he hasn't been here very long. Most of the mechanics of the place are still foreign.

[psychowolf]

"When I tried to open the door again it wouldn't budge and then you came through." he indicates Guide.

He isn't liking that this seems like magic, magic doesn't exist.

[shakemyhand]

"Sounds like your bound," says Daniel, "My guess is that the Bar has some reason for it."

Guide bares his teeth at the sound of being bound in the Bar. That would not be good for him.

[psychowolf]

Clay tenses and a small growl breaks out from deep in his throat at the mention of being bound.

"How do I get unbound?"

[shakemyhand]

"That is between you and the Bar," explains Daniel.

"And this happens to many people?" asks Guide almost academically.
