Clay is now stalking her, walking on the balls of his feet so that his walking doesn't make a sound, even in these halls. He will track her by scent and hearing in order to make certain that she doesn't see him.
From her movements she doesn't seem to know where the locker room is, which is confirmed when he hears her ask one of the few students on campus where to find the locker room. The student, a female but otherwise unfamiliar voice, answers, directing the young girl to the locker room.
