Okay Clay knows that is a lie, his office is in the center of the building, a small closet of an office that he is pretty sure used to belong to the janitor before they needed to make room for him. He looks down each direction of the hall.
He waits until she is out of sight and then he follows her scent trail. Fully aware that he needs to contact Jeremy he can't risk not following this child, something isn't right. He'll call his alpha as soon as he can.
