His office is small and cluttered with anthropological papers and books. There is a phone on the desk and printer against the wall.

There is a coat rack next to the door.

He looks around the room and waits for his friend to come through.

Not certain what he will show Sinric.

"How often does he visit?"

[psychowolf]

"Not often. My family isn't supposed to visit me while I'm here." he misses them and it's been less than a week, at least in his world.

"Why not? I understood travel was easy in this time? Or is it some stricture of your family?"

He pauses to take his boots off, feeling the soft grass under his toes.

[psychowolf]

He sighs, "I tend to get in a mood each fall. Jeremy thought that getting away might help. That it might be wanderlust or something." Clay doesn't think this is correct. But maybe, he has been in a better mood.

Clay pauses while Sinric plays in the grass. A few onlookers started to stare and Clay glares at them. They stop staring and go back to their business.

"And then the bar stole you away. That can't have helped."

Sinric notices the looks. They don't bother him but he can tell they are annoying Clay so he puts his shoes back on.

[psychowolf]

"Don't let them stop you." he is used to handling onlookers.

"We're in no rush."

"They don't trouble me. I've felt the grass now. It's very pleasant but the toes do grow cold." He shrugs.

"Where else might we wander?"

Clay nods.

"This way" he leads Sinric past some restaurants and a movie theater. "Have you been to a movie before?" he doesn't know what his other friends showed him in New Orleans.


[OOC: I understand. I'm traveling for work today so I will tag as available. ]

"No, I haven't. I've heard of them but I've never seen one, other than the TV in the bar." He seems quite excited by the prospect.

[psychowolf]

"Movies last about two hours." he wanders over towards the movie theater.

Listed are the movies, 'The Blind Side', 'Planet 51', '2012', 'Ninja Assassin', 'The Fourth Kind' ...

"Can you spare so long today?" Sinric asks, not wanting to take up too much of Clay's time if there are other things he needs to do.

He looks up at the sign, reading the names of the movies. "Which would you recommend?"
